Hello, Roddy, Hi, there. When Aztec Camera debuted its string of introspective, haunting, if not, larger-than-life hits way back in the early & late 80s I was immediately captured by the lyrical melody Roddy put his heart out to each and every composition. I recent bought your Greatest Hits album without any hesitation and forever humming, Somewhere In Ny Heart, How Men Are (a sentimental favorite and One of A Personal Motto), Reason For Living, Jump, Killermont Street among others. Am 38 yrs old now and still relives the 80s angst and that good, powerful guitar play of Roddy. I you guested on "Later with Jules" where you are simply Roddy Frame and no longer as Aztec Camera...Roddy, you have what it takes to influence, move and be so much a part of someone's else reason for living...more power, Roddy!

A beautiful and sometimes surreal evening is how best to describe last night in the Half Moon Club.

Saw Roddy in Dublin just Tues. It's like seeing an old friend and I am SOOOO delighted for Roddy for putting out such an incredible album. One of the best shows I have ever been to. I can't wait another 9 years to see Roddy perform! Roddy, you rejuvenated me.

Saw Roddy support Marianne Faithful in Coventry last night. He looked fantastic and sounded even better. Tracks: Small World, Bigger Brighter, Better, Black Lucia, Somewhere in my Heart, Stray, Down the Dip, Birth of the True, Mixed up Love, Surf, Reason for Living. Roddy you were wonderful and the new album is probably your best yet. Please don't disappear after the Ireland gigs for another four years. Music needs you. More gigs please. YOU ARE THE BEST!

I've just bought The Big Issue in London, and it has a free CD with it, featuring Roddy's 'Over You'. Also features tracks from lesser-known artists(!) such as Coldplay, Radiohead, Charlatans, Primal Scream, Oasis and many more. Go and buy it - you'll be doing your bit for the homeless too....

Roddy, remember, if you're coming down around Feb (can I suggest The Basement here in Sydney as a good venue? it's the closest thing we've got to Ronny Scott's..) take some sunblock! Believe me, my EK skin got the fright of its life when I stepped off the plane..and we've got a drought on at the moment. Actually, pack the fringed jacket - that should do it.

Just wondered if anyone is going to Warwick Arts Centre this Saturday the 23rd to see Roddy support Marianne Faithful. Tickets are a bit pricey at £18.50 but he's worth it surely. It will probably be along time before he plays the Midlands again, so give him your support. Tickets are available on 024 7652 4524. Venue is on Warwick University's main campus, Canley, COVENTRY (not Warwick). If anyone fancies meeting up for a drink before hand, send me an e-mail. Thanks, Tracy X

Saw the greatest singer/songwriter last Tues in Glasgow. Billy Sloan , music journalist gave him a brilliant review. He sent me the attached note....... WE TAPED A SESSION WITH RODDY FOR BROADCAST ON MY SHOW ON CLYDE 1 THIS SUNDAY - NOV 17 - AT 7PM. DON'T MISS IT. AND IF YOU CAN SPREAD THE WORD ON ANY WEB SITES I'D APPRECIATE IT. (I'D DO THAT ... BUT I'M A BIT OF A TECHNOPHOBE). THE SESSION IS OUTSTANDING. SO IS THE INTERVIEW. HE TALKS ABOUT THE EARLY DAYS OF POSTCARD RECORDS, ETC. FOR YOUR INFO. THE SONGS HE DOES ARE: SURF, SMALL WORLD & OVER YOU. HE ALSO DOES THREE CLASSICS: HYMN TO GRACE, DOWN THE DIP & KILLERMONT STREET. CHEERS, BILLY.

We saw Roddy at The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen on Sunday 3 November and thought he was nothing short of genius, truly flawless.A world apart from the manufactured "groups" who currently haunt the charts.Cant wait till he returns.
